Our Story

In October of 2004, Streams Church was established by the founding Pastor, Lloyd Baker and his wife Judy. The church was launched as a plant from Living Streams Church located in Phoenix, Arizona, with a group of 45 people meeting at Westview High School in Avondale. As the congregation grew, they moved their services to a local theater to accommodate the increasing number of members. Eventually, in 2010, the church was blessed to be able to move into their very own building in Glendale, Arizona. 

Streams Church has a strong focus on outreach, and under Pastor Lloyd's leadership, it had a significant impact on both local and international communities. Even today, Streams is dedicated to serving both locally and globally.

 In 2022, after 18 years of leading the congregation, Pastor Lloyd retired and Pastor Shawn Lind became Lead Pastor.  Pastor Lloyd and Judy are now living in Japan and pursuing God's call to the mission field there.
