A huge thank you to all of the volunteers! We are so grateful for our Kids Ministry team and for everything you do to create a fun environment for the kids to learn about Jesus each week. The time and energy you put into this ministry is much appreciated!
Please remember to accept or decline when you receive the Planning Center request to serve. You will receive the request thru email and on the app. If you do not respond to the request, we do not know if you plan to serve at the time you are scheduled. It is very important for scheduling that you let us know if you are available on the day you've been requested.
All kids church volunteers are required to check in and print a name tag every time you volunteer. This includes lead teachers, helpers, and volunteers at the check-in desk. We depend on you to check in so that we can get an accurate headcount for attendance and have a record of who was helping in each class. So please get checked in each week before going to your class.

I just have a couple of new things to share with you all.
Sunday Morning Update
Starting this month, we will have some new expectations for Sunday mornings. We will no longer be meeting at 9:15 in the sanctuary as the Kids Church team. You are still welcome to go and pray with everyone, but from now on, we will have a more Kids Church–focused meeting in the Kids building at 9:30 AM.
We will start with a quick pow wow so I can update everyone on any new changes or important information you need to know. After that, we will spend some time praying over our kids, our teaching, and any specific prayer requests.
This will make sure we have time to talk through any essential information before you begin teaching, while also giving us a chance to pray specifically for the kids and our classrooms. It will also give you plenty of time to get set up before kids start arriving!
Kids normally start showing up around 9:45, so after our quick meeting, you should have about 5–10 minutes to get everything ready.
It is really important that every volunteer serving that Sunday is there at 9:30 so we can all be on the same page and ready for the morning.
Thank you all so much for your flexibility! I really believe this change is going to be a good thing for our team and our Sunday mornings.
