What to expect

Visiting a new church can be an intimidating experience for many people. When you visit Streams Church, we want you to feel welcome so that you can focus on what really matters, worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ. Here are some common questions guests often have, along with some answers:

What is the Sunday service like?

Our Sunday morning service includes worship, music, prayer, and the teaching of God’s word.  You can express yourself during worship by singing, clapping, lifting your hands, or quietly reflecting.  We take communion together on the first Sunday of each month. Our service typically lasts a little over an hour.

What should I wear?

You are welcome to wear whatever you are most comfortable in.  Most people dress casually.  T-shirts, jeans, and shorts are all acceptable.

What should I do When I arrive?

We would love to meet you, so please stop by the welcome desk in the lobby to say hi.  We can answer any questions and will have a welcome gift ready for you!

What about my kids?

We have programs for the kids during the 10:00 service.   We have a nursery for the infants and kids’ church for toddlers thru 4th grade. To learn more about the Kid's Program click HERE.

Junior High kids (5th- 8th grade) start out in the sanctuary for worship and then go over to the youth building for their own service during the sermon. To learn more about the Youth Program click HERE.
